hey y'all... if you're wondering why i haven't blogged in 6 months.... its coz i've moved outta my dad's house due to "creative differences". i'm living with my mum and life is getting better as we speak....
my dreaded n levels are over.... so its time to live it up!!! i've been takings lessons from my dear friends to master my guitar-playing, or just play better..... things like church modes, ionian, dorian and mixolydian scales..... sweep and string skipping arpeggios, chromatics and the list goes on........ i can honestly say my playing is WAY better than the last time i blogged....
well in the last month i've gotten to know three great musicians from a band called CROSSBRED
the lead guitarist, Ben Chua is one of the best guitarists i've ever seen......the rhythm guitarist, Simon Vai(formerly known as Simon Lai)is a really nice guy and is quite well read when it comes to playing guitar.... recently he asked me to be his guitar tech(a sort of guitar mechanic)
boy was i happy...... its great to be amongst such gifted musicians
enough about music!!!
life is getting better! my grades are getting better, pulling up.... though my math needs a helluva lot more effort.....sciences need more work too.....
its the fasting month according to the muslim calender! muslims all round the world fast daily from dawn to dusk, for 1 month from the 3rd of october to the 3rd of november
and hari raya, a muslim holiday falls on the 4th of november.....
